Join NMAI (National Museum of the American Indian) for the 2022 Native Cinema Showcase, an annual celebration of the best in Native film. Communities across the globe are increasingly looking to the past to move forward. By embracing oral histories, knowledge, and ancestral lands, Indigenous peoples are creating films to better understand the past and imagine a new way of thinking for the future. The showcase provides a unique forum for engagement with Native filmmakers from Indigenous communities throughout the Western Hemisphere and Arctic.
